However many companies do not have someone on staff who knows the intricacies involved with setting up and maintaining the numerous social media platforms. In fact, “lack of knowledgeable staff” is the most significant barrier to social media adoption, according to 46% of respondents in a Marketing Sherpa survey…

It’s costs like these that make it asinine that LinkedIn.com still hasn’t adopted HR-XML standards; but then neither have most employers who complain about said costs.

This is a very interesting concept. Its no secret our old system of 8-5 workdays and resume placement is quickly becoming obsolete…but to incorporate a database of employees? Now that’s a fantastic concept!

With this being said, maybe its time to stop working on your resume, and start building your online status.
